8:30 am - 10:30 am High Powered Exterior LED Lights for Surround Coverage

In this session, we’re going to explore alternative materials and look at product design & innovation in order to reduce production cost and enhance performance. Further to that we will be looking at: Electrical architecture total power consumption optimization methods, Optimizing customer light output in a styled package, Leveraging advances in electronics and software capabilities for improved lighting system performance. The group will breakout afterward and each one will be given a sustainable material for them to evaluate. Collaborate to identify the pros & cons and and what that means from a cost reduction method.

11:00 am - 1:00 pm Designing Interior Cabin Features to Meet Passengers Needs

It is extremely important to design a product that is safe and provides a unique experience to the passenger. With mood lighting, we can promote driver safety and reduce road rage as well as adding to the passenger in cabin experience. Join this workshop to learn about mood lighting & the benefits of drivers safety & and the promotion of user experience. Then break into groups & identify how apply mood lighting into current products. The groups will evaluate the benefits, look at the design for usability, and evaluate any safety standards that they will need to meet, and share insightful takeaways.
